He was 89 years old. He is survived by a son, two daughters and grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>He was born in the early 1930s in Ludhiana, Punjab in what was then known as British India. Kishwar, who began his career in the entertainment industry in 1976, was a recipient of the Tamgha e Imtiaz, as well as Radio Pakistan&#8217;s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran actor had around 100 films and 1000 television drama serials to his credit. One of his most prominent roles was in the drama serial <em>Raizgari.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"story-area\">\n<div class=\"content-area\" data-io-article-url=\"https:\/\/www.geo.tv\/latest\/418777-legendary-actor-sajjad-kishwar-passes-away\">\n<p class=\"\">Kishwar&#8217;s funeral prayers were offered at Shah di Talian Graveyard at Committee Chowk, Rawalpindi.
