British-Pakistani actor Zoha Rahman, who we\u2019re watching these days in Geo TV drama Dil e Momin<\/em> and have also seen as Marvel\u2019s first hijab wearing character in Spider-Man: Far From Home<\/em>, has now signed her next project, Lord Curzon Ki Haveli<\/em>, directed by Anshuman Jha. This film will add to her roster of diverse projects, which include the Ranveer Singh starrer \u201983<\/em>, Foundation<\/em> on Apple TV and Young Wallander<\/em> on Netflix.<\/p>\n

Lord Curzon Ki Haveli<\/em> will go into production in the UK this month and Zoha will be seen alongside Emmy nominated actor Arjun Mathur (Made in Heaven<\/em>), Rasika Dugal (Delhi Crime<\/em> and Mirzapur<\/em>) and Paresh Pahuja. It\u2019s been written by Bikas Mishra and marks Anshuman Jha’s directorial debut. Jha is a Hindi film and theatre actor best known for his role in Love Sex Aur Dhoka.<\/em><\/p>\n

Lord Curzon Ki Haveli<\/em> is a black comedy about South Asians based in the UK and Zoha plays one of those characters, adding a unique cultural angle to the story.<\/p>\n

Shedding light on her character, she says, \u201cMy character was incredibly fun to play with, what ultimately made me say yes to this black comedy was the quiet strength she shows. She\u2019s absurdly unhinged and yet she could be any ordinary woman you meet on the street; the balance between the two extremes was why it was so much fun!\u201d<\/p>\n
