Sanam Saeed was missing from the big screen for a long time. Little did we know that the actor was preparing a surprise in the form of her upcoming film Ishrat Made in China,<\/em> where viewers will get to see her in a never-seen-before avatar as Akhtar.<\/p>\n

Mohib Mirza’s directorial debut Ishrat Made in China<\/em> is full of surprises; it appears to be a combo of different genres like comedy, action and thriller which is a new territory for Pakistani cinema. Also, the characters are far from what we usually see in local films. Though much was not known about Sanam Saeed’s role in the film, a few glimpses of her in the teaser and trailer were enough to build anticipation as Sanam has shed off her small-screen image in this sassy and mischievous persona.<\/p>\n

And now Ishrat Made in China<\/em> has given us a treat prior to the release of the film. The dance number TickTalk<\/em> is out and it seems that viewers cannot stop ishinggg<\/em> (swooning) over it!<\/p>\n

A masala entertainer is nothing without a viral dance number and it seems that Sanam and Mohib have enjoyed dancing on TickTalk<\/em>. The song is a treat to the eyes with a spectrum of colours, catchy beat, cool choreography and Sanam’s captivating expressions. It is filmi<\/em>, energetic, loaded with millennial lingo and Sanam Saeed in a breathtaking avatar that you would never expect as she croons “Ishrat teray love mai larki… ISSSHHH ISSSHHH karti jae re\u2026”<\/em><\/p>\n

Sanam in an unusual role<\/strong><\/h4>\n

While Sanam Saeed has played so many diverse roles, she is still known for playing strong female characters on screen. She is exploring a new genre in Ishrat Made in China<\/em> as her character is beaming with colour and energy. We have seen Sanam as a simple, straight forward, and level-headed girl many times, from drama serials Daam, Mera Naseeb to Zindagi Gulzar Hai.<\/em> Her roles have been diverse with a few negative streaks here and there like in Kadoorat. <\/em>Now, Sanam has done an out and out entertainer and though it remains to be seen if she will play a damsel or a feisty one here, but we expect nothing but the best from her.<\/p>\n

A masala film<\/h4>\n

Sanam Saeed has aced playing mature characters both on TV and in web series, and she hasn’t done many projects that are full of cheesy dialogues, romance, action, comedy, drama, songs and dances. So, with this out-and-out masala film, viewers will get a chance to see her in a new genre of films. Sanam is a good performer and we can’t wait to see her in this new persona.<\/p>\n
