He passed away Tuesday night at the CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, India. He was suffering from multiple health issues.<\/p>\n<p>According to<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/entertainment\/hindi\/bollywood\/news\/bappi-lahiris-cause-of-death-revealed-legendary-singer-died-due-to-obstructive-sleep-apnea\/articleshow\/89606209.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Times of India<\/a>,<\/em> a source at the hospital said,&#8221; Lahiri had been admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home. He was brought to the hospital. He had multiple health issues.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He died due to OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) shortly before midnight,&#8221; the source added.<\/p>\n<p>Fondly known as &#8220;Bappi Da&#8221;, he composed songs for several hit Bollywood films.
