Hum TV’s upcoming drama serial Badshah Begum<\/em> is giving us surprises with every new teaser. While the drama centers around a strong female character — Jahan Ara — played by Zara Noor Abbas and is based on a woman-centric narrative, it is undeniable that the male cast is equally strong. A teaser featuring Farhan Saeed released recently and the actor has left an impression with a 20-second teaser.<\/p>\n

The drama is based upon a fictional place Peeranpur where Jahar Ara is the heir to the throne. However, Farhan Saeed, who seems like her step-brother Pir Shahzeb, appears out of nowhere to claim his right as the son and a successor who was born out of the need of a gaddi nasheen <\/em>[kind of crown prince].<\/em><\/p>\n

Lots of drama, gun violence, and theatrics surround his character, So, it is yet to be seen what is in store for us. As Rafay Rashdi, one of the producers, puts it on Instagram:<\/p>\n

“There’s light at the end of the tunnel is how I could best describe the magnificence of this character poster by Khizer Idrees, however, where there’s light, there’s also darkness and such is the character: willing to fight to claim of what belongs to him…or does it? Presenting Farhan Saeed as Pir Shahzeb – ready to rival everything and anyone for the truth to prevail.”<\/p>\n
