The 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, America&#8217;s favorite sporting event, featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Super Bowl halftime performers do not get paid. The NFL does cover the cost of the performance, though. For artists asked to perform at the Super Bowl during halftime, the publicity is more than enough &#8220;compensation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Highlights<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Celebrity Appearances<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Given the game&#8217;s location in Los Angeles, it was inevitable that some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry will be the attendees. Celebs like Dwanye &#8220;The Rock&#8221; Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, Sean Penn, Heidi Klum, Kate Hudson, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, and several others were seen.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload_inited aligncenter size-full wp-image-80044\" src=\"https:\/\/test.somethinghaute.com\/images\/2022\/02\/will-ryan-super-bowl-z.jpg\" alt=\"Super Bowl 2022\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Some even left quite an impression on the audiences, like Ryan Reynolds with fellow Hollywood funny man Will Ferrell, dressed in Canadian hockey attire. The couple attended the game alongside Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker. Television host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, actress Portia de Rossi, were spotted enjoying the game in the stands. A slightly breathless-sounding 50 Cent was this year\u2019s guest star, appearing after Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg opened the show with <em>Still Dre<\/em> and <em>California Love<\/em>. Fiddy performed <em>In Da Club<\/em> while surrounded by beautiful dancers, which perhaps explains why he looked rather distracted for most of it.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/test.somethinghaute.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/trx_addons\/components\/lazy-load\/images\/placeholder.png\" data-trx-lazyload-height style=\"height: 0; padding-top: 56.216931216931%;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-80048\" data-trx-lazyload-src=\"https:\/\/test.somethinghaute.com\/images\/2022\/02\/123244338_50centreuters.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"756\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kendrick Lamar works in his own political statement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the Super Bowl, widespread reports emerged that headliners Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Snoop Dogg were being heavily censored from making any political statements. And I want to represent that in the best possible way that I can.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Deaf rappers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"subbuzz__title  xs-mb1 bold\"><span class=\"js-subbuzz__title-text\">Two deaf rappers, Sean Forbes and Warren \u201cWaWa\u201d Snipe, reportedly performed alongside the headliners \u2014 making it the first time that sign language interpreters were included in the halftime show. &#8220;My goal is to get out there, show what we can do, and have fun.
