Naseebo Lal\u2019s seasoned Rajasthani vocals open \u2018<em>Tu Jhoom<\/em>\u2019 and ascend, leading you to the deep, mellow and extremely soothing balance that Abida Parveen brings in. There\u2019s an unexpected and yet delightful shift in tone. This atypical pairing of musical powerhouses ensures yin yang to a song that urges you to sway in selflessness. There is movement, both sonic and visual, towards spirituality and hope and a balance of energies that help one heal and recover from hard times.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload_inited aligncenter size-full wp-image-79505\" src=\"https:\/\/test.somethinghaute.com\/images\/2022\/01\/Dancerrs.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"491\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Produced\/Curated by Season Producer Xulfi and written by Adnan Dhool, \u2018<em>Tu Jhoom<\/em>\u2019 also taps into the genius of Abdullah Siddiqui who calls it \u201cquintessentially desi but in an updated, almost post-modern way.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_79506\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-79506\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload_inited size-full wp-image-79506\" src=\"https:\/\/test.somethinghaute.com\/images\/2022\/01\/Abida-Parveen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-79506\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Abida Parveen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The studio session lends another dimension to the song, making it larger than life. We\u2019ve seen Coke Studio recordings in closed sets, the previous season recorded in isolation because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but this year\u2019s video opens up to a choir and dancers. The usual setting is replaced by a more open space surrounded by delicately carved window panes, playing with light and shadows, lending an ethereal mood to dancers swaying to the beats. The dancers complement and yet contrast the two stationary figures that command attention and reverence.
