Haroon Shahid is a fairly popular face on Pakistani television. The musician-cum-actor stepped into the entertainment industry as the lead singer of a pop-rock band, SYMT. He became well-known as The Ganderi Boy<\/em> because of his rendition of Naseebo Lal\u2019s song Pyar Di Ganderi<\/em>. Later, he forayed into acting with Shoaib Mansoor’s film, Verna<\/em>. Lady Luck was smiling on him as he got to work with a veteran filmmaker as well as a superstar like Mahira Khan as his leading lady in his debut role. He was married to Mahira’s character, and though theirs was a turbulent relationship, the couple was together till the very end of the movie.<\/p>\n

Little did he know that it was going to be a rare occurrence in his career because it has been observed that Haroon Shahid never gets the girl in any of his projects. Currently, Haroon is appearing in Hum TV’s Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay <\/em>alongside Mahira, and her character (Mehreen) left him in the most recent episode. Soon after the episode aired, the actor’s social media was bombarded with DMs and comments that “Again you didn’t get the girl”. <\/span><\/p>\n
